About the School of Humanities
More than 30 W3 and W1 professorships, more than 100 employees, and more than 2,500 students: this is the School of Humanities at the University of Mannheim. There are three things that are of particular importance to us:
- A high academic standard including high teaching quality – confirmed by the School’s very good results in the CHE ranking.
- Our qualified research foci combined with high publication activity, success with second- and third-party funding, and the fruitful promotion of young researchers.
- And last but not least, our involvement in interdisciplinary and international research, teaching, and knowledge transfer cooperations across various departments and universities.
